2. CPU Meter
Instead of constantly access Task Manager, a sidebar showing the same information is useful. It will show your RAM and processor usage. If you have dual core or more, it will show how much usage it is taking per core, quite useful and nifty.

For more gadgets like this, visit here becareful though not all gadgets are useful such as GPU meter, disk meter but it's up to you. Just my opinion, no use monitoring GPU if it is only at work during a full screen game or if you have a built in graphic card. Anyhow if you have 1GB Ram and dual core processor it won't be a heavy load or a major impact to your performance, but if you have say 512MB Ram and 1.6 Single Core processor, well it might decrease your system performance. Works for Vista and Windows 7, good luck on trying :)
