Straight to the point, Python. yes that's a language you should learn first. Because it's easy, and you can simply grasp the understanding of programming, such as the existence of a variable and an array. It's easy to newbies who doesn't have any background knowledge. Beside from being easy, the "structure" bears the same resemblance to PHP, which in the future you ever think to delve into web programming, you have half the basic.
Nonetheless, programming is journey of a million mile, you have to begin somewhere, don't think how long it's going to get and how hard it's going to be, just focus on what can you achieve with what you have learn.
